It is operated by ACTV but has its <strong>own special ticket (approx. \u20ac8 per ride)<\/strong> and is <strong>not included in the normal ACTV vaporetto day pass<\/strong>. Tickets can also be booked online with a QR code. The official ACTV &#8220;Linea 16&#8221; notice and the Terminal Fusina information are authoritative.<\/p><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The park-and-ride strategy via Fusina<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you arrive by car from the south (Bologna, Padua, Verona) or from the west (Milan, A4) and don&#8217;t want to pay the steep rates at the Tronchetto car park, park at the <strong>Terminal Fusina<\/strong> on the edge of the lagoon south-west of Marghera. Day parking there is considerably cheaper than at Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma. From the car park it is a few steps to the pier; there you board line 16 and reach the Zattere pier in Dorsoduro in about <strong>25 minutes<\/strong> \u2014 from where the whole centre is within reach on foot or by other vaporetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The water route is scenically far more rewarding than driving in over the Ponte della Libert\u00e0 \u2014 you travel along the southern lagoon with views of Santa Maria della Salute and Punta della Dogana. <strong>Important:<\/strong> the line 16 ticket (approx. \u20ac8 per ride) is bought separately and is not valid with the normal ACTV day or multi-day pass. Terminal Fusina also offers combined parking-plus-crossing packages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Timetable and operation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Line 16 operates <strong>all year round<\/strong> as a direct Fusina \u2194 Zattere connection, with seasonal frequencies \u2014 denser in summer and at weekend peaks, reduced in winter. The first departure from Fusina is in the morning, the last return from the Zattere in the early evening; the line does not run at night.
