Peak operation May to September. In the summer weeks (June\u2013August) the operators usually offer 3\u20135 sailings per week, reduced to 2\u20133 days in the shoulder months (April, September, October). Typical days of the week: <strong>Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday<\/strong>. No service from November to March \u2014 then you can only travel by car, bus or plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Standard schedule: departure from Istria 7:30\u20138:30am, arrival in Venice 10:00am\u201312:00pm (depending on the port). Return 4:30\u20135:30pm, arrival in Istria 7:00\u20139:00pm. The \u201cSan Basilio\u201d vaporetto stop is right by the pier. An interior visit to St Mark\u2019s Basilica (mandatory reservation, slots often booked out weeks ahead) or the Doge\u2019s Palace just about fits into the plan, but needs advance booking and costs an extra \u20ac30\u201340 per person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u26a0\ufe0f Venice entry fee 2026 \u2014 relevant for day tourists from Croatia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you arrive in Venice by catamaran on one of the <strong>60 designated days in 2026<\/strong> (between 3 April and 26 July, mainly weekends and holiday bridges), you must pay the <strong>entry fee<\/strong> (Contributo di Accesso) as a day tourist: <strong>\u20ac5<\/strong> if booked at least 3 days before your visit, <strong>\u20ac10<\/strong> for short-notice booking. Children under 14 are fully exempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Booking is mandatory via the official portal <a href=\"https:\/\/cda.ve.it\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cda.ve.it<\/a>.
