The train option is a sensible plan B for later returns: take the bus to the nearest station \u2014 <strong>Latisana<\/strong> or <strong>Portogruaro<\/strong> \u2014 and change there to the Trenitalia regional train to <strong>Venezia Santa Lucia<\/strong>. The beach is often described as around 8 kilometres long; the width and usable beach area vary by section. Bibione is a classic beach resort. If Venice is your main destination, book a night in Venice or Mestre instead. For a family beach week with one or two Venice days, Bibione works well \u2014 most flexibly with car + park &amp; ride.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n\n<details><summary>Where is the best place to park in Venice?<\/summary><div><p>P+R car parks in Mestre\/Marghera with tram\/bus links are cheaper; right on the edge of the lagoon there is Tronchetto (currently around \u20ac29\/24 h, vaporetto connection); alternatively Fusina with a vaporetto link towards Zattere. Check prices, opening hours and connecting services with the operator in advance. You cannot park in Venice itself.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n\n<details><summary>Is there a direct train from Bibione?<\/summary><div><p>No. Bibione has no railway station of its own. The nearest stations are Latisana and Portogruaro (both reachable by bus). From there, Trenitalia regional trains run to Venezia Santa Lucia. Check times and frequency with ATVO\/Trenitalia.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n\n<details><summary>Are dogs and pushchairs allowed?<\/summary><div><p>Dogs, pushchairs and luggage are subject to the current ATVO, Trenitalia and ACTV rules. A muzzle\/lead or transport box may be required; on full vehicles staff may impose restrictions.
