These services are <strong>chargeable<\/strong> for visitors. This guide shows you, for <strong>Jesolo, Bibione, Caorle, Cavallino-Treporti, Eraclea Mare<\/strong> (all ULSS 4 Veneto) and <strong>Lignano<\/strong> (Friuli), where to turn: in a real emergency, and for minor complaints during the day and at night \u2014 with the current phone numbers and addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New in summer 2026 \u2014 the strengthened ULSS 4 network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ULSS 4 Veneto Orientale has significantly expanded its summer programme &#8220;Vacanze in Salute&#8221; 2026 \u2014 around <strong>5.2 million euros<\/strong>, about <strong>200 specialists<\/strong> (doctors, nurses, staff) plus interpreters and <strong>five first-aid points<\/strong> along the coast. In Lignano (Friuli) a separate system applies (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Emergency numbers at a glance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>112<\/strong> \u2014 the single European emergency number for acute emergencies; free from mobile and landline, a foreign SIM is enough, multilingual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>118<\/strong> \u2014 medical ambulance service; still in common use in Veneto. The service decides which suitable hospital you are taken to.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>116117<\/strong> \u2014 the number for <strong>non-urgent<\/strong> medical help and the Continuit\u00e0 Assistenziale (Guardia Medica); active across ULSS 4 since September 2025 (free, 24\/7, multilingual). <strong>Not<\/strong> for real emergencies (use 118) and not for appointment booking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1530<\/strong> \u2014 Italian Coast Guard for distress and emergencies on the water; alternatively <strong>112<\/strong>. On a supervised beach also alert the lifeguard immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where to go, by resort<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> the ULSS 4 tourist clinics run <strong>seasonally<\/strong> \u2014 days, hours and the start of the season are set <strong>anew each year<\/strong>. Tourist clinic in season (access via nurse triage).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bibione<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First-aid point (Via Maja, Bibione)<\/strong> with medical and nursing care in high season \u2014 in 2026 for the first time with <strong>24-hour nurse triage<\/strong>, integrated with the 118 ambulance service. Non-urgent A&amp;E cases can become chargeable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>tourist clinics<\/strong> are, according to ULSS 4, <strong>chargeable for everyone<\/strong> (SSN tariff). Whether and how much you can be reimbursed is decided by your home health insurer \u2014 keep receipts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>EHIC does not cover repatriation<\/strong> or planned treatment.
