What is Cavallino-Treporti?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cavallino-Treporti<\/a> is a narrow peninsula between the Venetian lagoon and the Adriatic, east of the Lido di Venezia. A long sandy beach and the location right in front of Venice have made it one of the largest camping and open-air holiday areas in Europe<\/strong>, with many camping villages, holiday resorts and a high share of German-speaking guests. Despite its closeness to the lagoon city, Cavallino-Treporti is not<\/strong> part of the municipality of Venice, which matters for the access fee (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
