It is not a single-square market but a walking route of wooden huts along Via Silvio Trentin in the Lido, between Piazza Mazzini (family area, planned ice rink) and Piazza Aurora (Father Christmas and his elves). Three more Christmas attractions belong to it: the Sand Nativity (28 November 2026 to 7 February 2027, Piazza Brescia), the Ice Nativity (5 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, Jesolo Paese) and the New Year’s Eve party with a drone show on Piazza Kennedy. The Sand and Ice Nativity are free. The official daily programme of the Christmas village has not been published yet; what is confirmed and what is only planned is listed below with its status.

The 2026/27 dates at a glance

Christmas in Jesolo 2026/27 — dates and places

What

When

Where

Admission

Christmas village / Christmas market (Villaggio di Natale)

27 Nov 2026 – 6 Jan 2027

Via Silvio Trentin, Piazza Mazzini to Piazza Aurora (Lido di Jesolo)

Walk along a public street; 2026 prices for the ice rink and rides not yet published

Sand Nativity (Jesolo Sand Nativity, 24th edition)

28 Nov 2026 – 7 Feb 2027

Piazza Brescia (Lido), in a tent

Free, no reservation for individual visitors

Ice Nativity (Presepe di Ghiaccio, 6th edition)

5 Dec 2026 – 10 Jan 2027

Piazza I Maggio, Jesolo Paese (historic centre)

Free, no reservation

New Year’s Eve

31 Dec 2026 and 1 Jan 2027

Piazza Kennedy, Jesolo Paese

Free; 31 Dec from 10 pm, 1 Jan from 4 pm; day and time of the drone show still open

Worth knowing when planning: Lido di Jesolo (Christmas village, Sand Nativity) and Jesolo Paese (Ice Nativity, New Year’s Eve on Piazza Kennedy) are two separate districts, a few kilometres apart. According to the City of Jesolo it offers handmade crafts, tree decorations, local specialities, hot drinks and entertainment for adults and children. The concept has been the same for years: in the last fully documented edition (2025/26) Piazza Mazzini had the ice rink, rides and games, while Piazza Aurora was the base of Father Christmas and his elves. Both are expected again in 2026, but are not yet officially confirmed.

Jesolo Christmas village 2026/27 — status of the information (1 November 2026)

Item

Status

Note

Dates 27 Nov 2026 – 6 Jan 2027

Officially confirmed

jesolo.it and VisitJesolo

Location Via Silvio Trentin, Piazza Mazzini – Piazza Aurora

Officially confirmed

as in previous years

Opening hours

Planned, not official

According to media reports Mon–Fri about 2–8 pm, Sat/Sun/holidays about 10 am–8 pm; some food stalls later; special hours at Christmas, New Year’s Eve and 6 January open

Ice rink on Piazza Mazzini

Planned, not official

Present in 2025/26; 2026 prices and hours unknown

Father Christmas on Piazza Aurora

Planned, not official

2026 arrival date not yet published

Daily programme (shows, concerts)

Open

The city states the programme is being updated

As soon as the City of Jesolo publishes the programme, the tree lighting, Father Christmas’s arrival and the ice rink prices, we will update this page. On Thursday 31 December the party starts at 10 pm with presenters and DJs up to the midnight countdown, followed by fireworks. On Friday 1 January 2027 music and entertainment continue from 4 pm. A show with 800 illuminated drones is also announced; as of 1 November 2026 the city has not said on which day or at what time it will fly. For comparison: at the turn of the year 2025/26 the party started at 9:30 pm with live music, with fireworks at midnight. As things stand, day visitors pay no access fee in winter: the 2026 season ended on 26 July, and the next fee period begins in spring 2027 under the city’s decision (see Venice access fee). The routes from Jesolo to Venice are compared on the page Day trip Jesolo to Venice; the direct boat runs seasonally, the connection by ATVO bus and vaporetto via Punta Sabbioni runs all year. In winter it is also worth checking the best time to visit Venice, because high water occurs in autumn and winter.

Is it right for you?

Christmas in Jesolo — does it suit you?

Visitor type

Fit

Note

Families with children

Very good

Sand and Ice Nativity free, Father Christmas and the (planned) ice rink in the Christmas village; ice rink prices still open

Couples on a weekend

Good

Evening stroll through the Christmas village, Sand Nativity open until 7:30 pm, then a walk by the sea

Christmas market connoisseurs from Germany and Austria

With reservations

Not a classic compact market, but a long route mixing crafts, gifts and food

Day visitors from Venice

Limited

Good for an evening; allow for the trip via Punta Sabbioni plus a bus, check the return journey in advance

Those seeking quiet

Depends on the weekday

Quieter on weekdays; parking is scarce on Advent weekends

Frequently asked questions about the Jesolo Christmas market 2026

When does the Jesolo Christmas market start in 2026?

The Christmas village opens on 27 November 2026 and runs until 6 January 2027.
