On Thursday 31 December 2026 the party starts at 10 pm with presenters and DJs from Radio Piterpan and Radio Bellla & Monella, followed by the midnight countdown and fireworks. On Friday 1 January 2027 music and entertainment continue from 4 pm. A show with 800 illuminated drones is announced as the highlight. On which of the two days and at what time it flies has not been communicated by the city so far. All details are listed below with their status.

The programme at a glance

New Year’s Eve in Jesolo 2026/27 — programme on Piazza Kennedy

Day

Start

What

Status

Thursday 31 December 2026

10 pm

Presenters and DJs of Radio Piterpan and Radio Bellla & Monella up to the midnight countdown, then fireworks

Announced by the city

Friday 1 January 2027

4 pm

Second day with music and entertainment

Announced by the city

Drone show with 800 drones

Time open

Announced as the central event; day and time not stated

Open

Admission

—

Free on both days

Announced by the city

The organiser is the City of Jesolo together with the two radio stations. Further stage acts, such as live performers, are not officially confirmed as far as we know (1 November 2026).

The drone show: what is known and what is not

For the turn of the year the city announces a choreography with 800 illuminated drones drawing figures and images in the sky over Jesolo. A drone show of this size is so far unusual for Jesolo. What is open is on which day it takes place: media reports and event portals give different times, and the official announcement does not commit. So do not plan around the drones alone but around the whole evening, and check the current programme shortly before your trip. We will add the date here as soon as the city names it.

Where exactly: Piazza Kennedy in Jesolo Paese

Piazza Kennedy is the large market square of Jesolo Paese, the historic centre inland, not on the beach. The Ice Nativity on Piazza I Maggio is in the same district. If you stay in Lido di Jesolo, where the Christmas village and the Sand Nativity are, you travel a few kilometres into the town centre for the party. Plan the journey there and back on New Year’s Eve in advance, ideally with a sober driver or a taxi; as far as we know the city has not yet published timetables or traffic rules for the night.

Combining New Year’s Eve with the Christmas programme

The Christmas attractions run beyond the turn of the year. The Ice Nativity on Piazza I Maggio is open daily from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm from 24 December to 6 January, so also on 31 December and 1 January, and lies in the same district as Piazza Kennedy. The Sand Nativity on Piazza Brescia is open daily from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm in the same period. The Christmas village runs until 6 January; its hours on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day have not been published yet. For the turn of the year: if you want to stay close to Piazza Kennedy, book early. In winter many hotels and restaurants in Jesolo are closed, so check opening and New Year’s offers directly with the business. On 1 January it continued from 4 pm with a DJ set. The 2026/27 schedule follows a similar pattern but adds the drone show. Last year’s programme is no indication of the acts in 2026/27.

Is New Year’s Eve in Jesolo right for you?

New Year’s Eve in Jesolo — does it suit you?

Visitor type

Fit

Note

Couples and groups of friends who want to celebrate outdoors

Good

Free open-air party with music, countdown and fireworks; dress warmly

Families with children

With reservations

Start only at 10 pm; 1 January from 4 pm suits children better; drone day still open

Drone show fans

With reservations

Day and time not confirmed; check before travelling

Those seeking quiet

Rather unsuitable

Large crowd in the town centre, loud music into the night

Visitors from Venice or the surrounding area

Limited

Clarify the return journey after midnight in advance; public connections on New Year’s Eve not documented

Frequently asked questions about New Year’s Eve in Jesolo 2026/27

Where is New Year’s Eve celebrated in Jesolo?

On Piazza Kennedy in Jesolo Paese, the historic centre.
