Three godmothers from the Mein Schiff community jointly took on the role. The programme included a performance by <strong>Tim Bendzko<\/strong> and a large <strong>fireworks display over the harbour<\/strong>; <strong>Rea Garvey<\/strong> had already performed the evening before as part of the naming cruise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ship had been handed over to TUI Cruises on <strong>12 June 2026<\/strong> by the <strong>Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone on the Gulf of Trieste<\/strong> \u2014 a region that, depending on the connection, lies about two to two and a half hours from Venice. The three godmothers were jointly involved in the ceremony. The evening closed with a large <strong>fireworks display over the port of Trieste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first time in the company&#8217;s history, <strong>three godmothers<\/strong> jointly took on the role: Julia, Annabelle and Karin were selected from around 900 applicants. More than 15,000 votes from the Mein Schiff community fed into the final choice. Designer <strong>Guido Maria Kretschmer<\/strong> selected a couture dress from his collection for each of the three godmothers.
