Activity as a travel agent
We act exclusively as a travel agent (intermediary) within the meaning of § 651v of the German Civil Code (BGB) — we broker package holidays and individual travel services of third parties and are not ourselves the organiser of these trips. The contractual partner for the brokered trip is exclusively the respective tour operator or service provider (e.g. TUI, FTI, DERTOUR, hotels, boat lines). The respective terms and conditions, insolvency protection (security certificate pursuant to § 651r BGB) and travel prices are provided by the respective operator and made transparent in the booking process.
Activity as an insurance intermediary
Within the scope of our travel activity we broker travel insurance only (trip cancellation, luggage and international health insurance) as a product-accessory annex insurance intermediary pursuant to § 34d (8) no. 1 of the German Trade Regulation (GewO). This activity is licence-free and not subject to registration in the intermediary register, as it is provided only as an adjunct to the main service (travel agency).

Dispute resolution
Pursuant to § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG) we are obliged to point out that consumer arbitration boards have been established for disputes between consumers and businesses. The general consumer arbitration board is the Zentrum für Schlichtung e. V., Straßburger Str. 8, 77694 Kehl, Germany (email: mail@verbraucher-schlichter.de).
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
