Caorle Concerts 2026 — Caorle OltreMare and the Street Piano Festival

In a nutshell: Caorle offers its own distinctive concert season in 2026, built on two pillars: Caorle OltreMare, the summer open-air concert series in the historic old town and on the beach, and the Caorle Street Piano Festival — an unusual event in which pianos are placed freely around the town for anyone to play spontaneously. Add to that classical concerts in the parish church and occasional pop concerts as part of larger festivals.

Caorle OltreMare — the summer concert series

Caorle OltreMare (“Caorle beyond the sea”) is the official town concert series, running from early June to mid-September. The focus: Italian singer-songwriters (cantautori), jazz quartets, classical ensembles and the occasional international guest. Concerts take place in the Centro Storico — the historic squares around the campanile serve as a natural open-air stage, with the pink bell tower as the backdrop.

  • Venues: Piazza Vescovado, Piazza Mons. Stefani, parish church of Santo Stefano
  • Start time: usually 9 pm
  • Admission: free for most concerts, selected premium acts ticketed at €15–25
  • Programme: changes from year to year — the full list is published by the Comune in early June 2026

Caorle Street Piano Festival

One of Italy’s most unusual concert formats: during the festival, several brightly painted pianos are set up around Caorle’s old town — on squares, outside cafés, on the beach. Anyone may sit down and play, from professional pianists to holidaying children. Plus organised performances by internationally known pianists at set times of day. The atmosphere is unique — relaxed, spontaneous, different every day. Traditionally in July, lasting several days.

Classical concerts in the parish church

The parish church of Santo Stefano in the old town has exceptional acoustics and is regularly used for classical concerts and chamber music — Vivaldi, Albinoni and other Venetian baroque composers often feature in the programme. Dates are spread across the season, mostly with local ensembles or guest quartets. Concerts start at 9 pm; admission is free or with a suggested donation.

What makes Caorle concerts different from Jesolo or Bibione

  • Historic backdrop: Jesolo and Bibione are modern beach towns — Caorle has medieval squares and the characteristic pink campanile as a stage backdrop
  • Italian depth: fewer mainstream pop acts, more Italian cantautori and classical music. If you want to experience Italian culture live, you are better served here
  • Spontaneous character: the Street Piano Festival, open squares, no fenced-off concert hall — the town itself becomes the stage
  • Big names in Bibione: if you want acts like Antonello Venditti or Nomadi, drive around 50 minutes east to Bibione. If you want atmosphere and town culture, stay in Caorle

Tickets, crowds and practical tips

  • Admission: most town-organised concerts are free. Selected premium acts are ticketed (€15–25) — sales via the Comune or the tourist information office
  • Reservations: usually not possible for free concerts; arriving early is recommended (from 7:30 pm for better spots)
  • Getting there: from a hotel in the Centro Storico, every venue is 5–10 minutes on foot
  • Weather proviso: open-air concerts are postponed in heavy rain — check the current status on the day in the live weather block on the weather page
