Webcam Cavallino-Treporti — Enzo Stella Maris Beach (Live)
In short: Live webcam from the beach of the Enzo Stella Maris camping village in Cavallino-Treporti, on the upper Adriatic east of Venice. The stream shows the fine sandy beach, the water of the Adriatic and the pine-backed scenery of the Cavallino peninsula, one of Europe’s largest camping areas, around the clock. From here Venice is about 40 minutes away by vaporetto from Punta Sabbioni. The stream is free and live all year.
Live stream — Enzo Stella Maris beach
The camera stands at the camping village Enzo Stella Maris directly on the beach of Cavallino-Treporti and shows a wide section of the Adriatic coast: the light sandy beach with rows of umbrellas, the gently shelving water that suits children and, on the horizon, the open sea. In clear weather it is a good way to check conditions before a beach day or a trip to Venice.
What is Cavallino-Treporti?
Cavallino-Treporti is a narrow peninsula between the Venetian lagoon and the Adriatic, east of the Lido di Venezia. A long sandy beach and the location right in front of Venice have made it one of the largest camping and open-air holiday areas in Europe, with many camping villages, holiday resorts and a high share of German-speaking guests. Despite its closeness to the lagoon city, Cavallino-Treporti is not part of the municipality of Venice, which matters for the access fee (see below).

Day trip Cavallino → Venice
Cavallino-Treporti is one of the most convenient bases for a day in Venice, entirely without a car:
- Vaporetto from Punta Sabbioni: from the landing at the western end of the peninsula, line 14 runs to San Marco in roughly 40 minutes. A local bus or bike gets you to the landing.
- Island combination: line 14 also connects Punta Sabbioni with Burano, so a lagoon day can be combined with Venice.
- Details and routes: Day trip Punta Sabbioni → Venice.
Important on the access fee: Because Cavallino-Treporti is not in the municipality of Venice, guests staying there count as day visitors in Venice and are not automatically exempt on days when the access fee applies. Check the official calendar in advance.
Weather, waves and season
- Best season: May to September; July and August are peak season with full beaches.
- Waves: usually calm; much stronger in bora (north-east) or sirocco (south-east) wind, visible on the camera as surf.
- Lagoon and acqua alta: in sirocco conditions the water level in the lagoon rises; the current level is shown on Acqua alta live.
