Chioggia Concerts 2026 — Summer Series on the Diga, Auditorium San Nicolò
Chioggia is not a stadium-concert town. What Chioggia offers are classical concerts in historic settings, open-air series on the Sottomarina Diga and live music at the town festivals Notte Bianca and Sagra del Pesce. For the really big pop tours, Lignano (Stadio Teghil) or Jesolo (Palazzo del Turismo) is the right address.
Summer concert series on the Diga
From mid-June to early September there are concerts almost every weekend evening on the Diga di Sottomarina (breakwater promenade) and on Piazza Italia. The programme ranges from Italian pop and cover bands to tribute shows and jazz combos. Free entry, usually starting at 9 pm. The 2026 programme is published by the Comune di Chioggia in June.
Classical concerts in the Auditorium San Nicolò
The Auditorium San Nicolò in the old town — a converted old church — is Chioggia’s most important concert stage acoustically. In summer, season concerts with orchestra, chamber music and choir; in winter, a theatre and classical season. Admission €10–25 depending on the event. Programme on comune.chioggia.ve.it.
Church concerts
The cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta (Chioggia’s duomo) and the church of San Domenico host several classical concerts in summer — organ, choir, strings. Admission free or for a small contribution. Dates via the parishes and the tourist office.
Live music at the town festivals
The bigger concert occasions are generally tied to the town festivals: Sagra del Pesce, Notte Bianca, Palio della Marciliana and Ferragosto (15 August). At these events several bands usually play across the weekend, plus DJ sets on the beach promenade. Details on the events page.
What Chioggia does not have
If you want to see Italy’s biggest pop stars (Vasco Rossi, Eros Ramazzotti, Tiziano Ferro) live in summer 2026, head to Lignano (Stadio G. Teghil and Arena Alpe Adria) or to bigger cities such as Padua (Stadio Euganeo). Chioggia does not play in that league.
