Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, Venice — Vivaldi Concerts with I Musici Veneziani

They are two separate ensembles in two venues. I Musici Veneziani perform in the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro near the Rialto Bridge, in 18th-century Venetian costume, and add opera arias and seasonal programmes to the Four Seasons. Interpreti Veneziani play in the Chiesa di San Vidal near the Accademia Bridge in a more straightforward concert format. Choose by setting: costumed and staged here, a plain church concert there.

The concert takes place in the Salone Capitolare on the first floor — a mid-sized hall that keeps the concert fairly intimate. Tickets are normally sold in a front and a back category. The centre of the front category is usually the best compromise between view and sound; very first rows are close but angled. Seating plans differ by date and seller, so check the plan when you book.
